Glam rock look

¡¡Hola a todos!!

Hoy os traigo un look que quería presentar al concurso que realizó Make Up Forever en mayo en el que había que presentar un maquillaje Glam Rock (ya sabéis... David Bowie, Kiss,... incluso la serie de Jem que se está volviendo a poner de moda con eso de que están haciendo una peli). El caso es que en su momento no pude presentarlo porque me enteré tarde y la fecha de entrega era el día 25 y mi abuelo murió el 24 (por eso tampoco pude los días antes, entre que estaba preocupada por él y que recibí una visitilla de mi amiga Mercè.... -ya oiréis hablar de ella más-). En fin, cosas de la vida... Así que quiero compartirlo con vosotros de todas formas. Espero que os guste y que no seáis muy duros con las críticas porque es mi primer look de este tipo.

 Hi everybody!!

Today I have for you a look I wanted to submit for the contest Make Up Forever did in May in which you needed to do a Glam Rock look (you know... David Bowie, Kiss,... even the series Jem that is now back in fashion because they are making a movie). I couldn't submit it in time because I learned about it late and the deadline was the 25th and my grandfather passed away the 24th (that's way I also couldn't the days before; I was worried about him and also got a visit from my friend Mercè... -you will be hearing much more from her in the future-). Well, that's how life is... So I want to share it with you anyway. I hope you like it and, please, do not be too hard with me because it is my frist look of this kind.

Este es el look. Ya sé que la patita de la estrella está rara pero por lo demás no está tan mal, ¿no? jejje. A continuación os añado más fotos.

Ha pasado un poco de tiempo desde mi última (y primera) entrada, pero he estado resolviendo unos problemillas "tésnicos" pero bueno, cómo no da muy buena imagen empezar un blog dando excusas pues vamos al tema del post. Están organizadas sin ningún orden (así soy yo) y todas son en inglés.

Es una youtuber americana que hace unos maquillajes increibles y espectaculares con toques de fantasía. Por ejemplo:

Tiene una línea similar a la de Goldiestarling y muy muy divertida. Por ejemplo:

 Es una chica también americana que hace unos maquillajes de efectos especiales impresionantes. Además es diabética y suele hacer acciones de concienciación. ¡Me encanta su gato de Cheshire!

She is also an American girl that makes some very impressive special effects make-ups. She is also diabetic and uses to make actions to raise awareness. I love her Cheshire cat!

- Klaire de Lys
Es una chica británica con muchísimo talento para los maquillajes tanto naturales como de fantasía. Además tiene un blog y un segundo canal en los que enseña manualidades y cosas muy creativas.

She is a British girl with lots of talent for makeup, both natural and fantasy. She is also has a blog and a second channel in which she shows DIY's and very creative things

- Cherry Dollface
 Modelo pin-up/rockabilly con la que he aprendido todo lo que se de peinados pin-up. Tiene muchas cosas interesantes, sobre todo peinados y maquillajes vintage pero también trucos para ser modelo pin-up, por ejemplo.

Pin-up/rockabilly model from which I've learned everything I know about pin-up hairstyles. She has many interesting things, above all vintage hairstyles and makeups but also tips to be a pin-up model, for example.

La verdad es que, aunque había oído hablar de ella, no la he conocido a fondo hasta hace poco. Hace unas cosas increíbles. Me costaba mucho elegir el video que poner así que he cogido el último.

Actually, altough I have heard about her, I have not known her in deep until recently. She makes some incredible things. It was very hard for me to choose a video, so I have taken the last one.

Además de que me encanta su color de pelo, esta chica hace unos maquillajes preciosos. Lo malo es que lleva mucho sin publicar cosas nuevas.

Apart of the fact that I loooove her hair colour, this girl makes some very beutiful makeups. The bad thing is that it has been very long since she uploaded.

- Carly Rowena
No tiene que ver con las demás, es una youtuber de fitness. Es una chica inglesa muuuuy divertida y los entrenamientos que ofrece funcionan de verdad y dedicando poco tiempo (pero hay que dedicarle algo, no seáis como yo, jejeje).

She has nothing to do with the others, she is a fitness youtuber. This British girl is very funny and the trainnings and challenges she proposes really work and with little time of yours (altough you have to use some time, don't be like me! hahaha).

Por cierto, todos los videos que pongo son propiedad de sus respectivos autores, yo sólo los he puesto todos juntos para vuestro disfrute.

¡¡Hola!! / Hi!!

Hola,

Me llamo Marina y acabo de crear este blog sin saber mucho de cómo funciona esto. Aunque llevo años siguiendo muchos blogs (casi demasiados diría yo) no me había decidido a hacer uno propio hasta ahora. Supongo que es lo típico porque he leído esta misma historia muuuchas veces en otros blogs y videos de Youtube.

Bueno, pues de momento el blog está un poquito "en bragas" y no sé muy bien cómo quedará cuando aprenda a meter cosas (como por ejemplo la aplicación del GFC -¿alguien sabe cómo funciona?-) y sepa cómo funciona todo, pero sí que puedo dar un pequeño adelanto temático.

Estas son algunas de las cositas y temas que vais a poder ver paseando por el blog:

- Maquillaje y pintauñas y cosas muuuuy coloridas en general (no encontraréis mucha cosa "neutra" o "nude" por aquí, sorry. Soy una yonki de los colorines... tanto que creo que si fuese animal estaría perdida, ya sabéis los típicos sapos o pulpos supervenenosos pero con muuuchos colorines para asustar, pues yo iría de cabeza a por ellos... Aiss, qué sabia la naturaleza que me hizo humana -o eso se rumorea-)

- Pin-up, cosas retro y cincuenteras en general (¿os he dicho que me equivoqué de año para nacer?)

- Ciencia ficción, fantasía (Sobre todo de la Guerra de las Galaxias y El Señor de los Anillos)

- Libros, películas y series (críticas de los libros, películas y series que haya visto recientemente, sin importar si son estreno o no, y sobre todo de fantasía y ciencia ficción de la antigua, que es la que me gusta, jejeje)

- Steampunk (muy relacionado con todo lo demás que me gusta así que era algo obvio que acabase pasando)

- Música (una vez más tiraré hacia tiempos pasados, y hacia el inglés. No lo puedo evitar, jejeje)

- Recetas (¡me encanta cocinar! y más aún comérmelo después :-D )

- Cosas relacionadas con mis mascotas: un perro (Lenny) y una cobaya (Bicho)

- Puede que haya algo de moda pero os puedo garantizar que probablemente no será lo que esté de moda en ese momento. Como ya os habéis podido imaginar el pasado llama jejeje. 

- Cualquier otra cosa que se me ocurra o que alguien me proponga

De momento eso es todo. Siento las divagaciones pero es que me pasa siempre. Intentaré centrarme más, ¡prometido!

Hi,

My name is Marina and I have just created this blog without knowing very well how does it work. Altough I've been following and reading many blogs (too much I would say) I had never thought about making my own until now. I guess this is typical because I’ve heard the same story many times from other bloggers and youtubers.

For the moment, the blog is a little bit provisional and I don’t know how it will turn when I learn to put things on it (like the application of GFC –does anybody know how it works?-) and how it works, but I can give a theme preview.

These are some of the things and topics that you will be able to see on blog:

- Make-up and nail polish and very colourful things in general (you won’t be finding anything "nude" around here, sorry. I’m a colour-holic... so much that I thing that if I were an animal I would be lost, you know, very poisonous toads and octopuses but with plenty of colours to scare, well, I would go straight to them... How wise nature is for making me human –or so they say-)

- Pin-up, retro, vintage and 1950’s stuff (Have I told you that I mistook the year to be born?)

- Sci-fi, fantasy (Above all Star Wars and The Lord of The Rings)

- Books, films and series (review of the books, films and series I have recently read/watch, no matter if they are new or not, and above all they will be fantasy and old-school sci-fi, the best one for me)

- Steampunk (very related to everything else I like so it was obvious that it would happened)

- Music (once more I would go to the oldies and to English. I can’t help myself!)

- Recipes (I love to cook! and even more to eat it later :-D )

- Things related to my pets: a dog (Lenny) and a guinea pig (Bicho)

- There my be something about fashion but I can guarantee that I probably won’t be the one in fashion at that moment. as you could have already imagined, past always calls me!

- Anything I come up with or anything that you suggest.

For the moment that’s all. I’m sorry about the wandering but it is something that always happens to me. I promise to focus a little more, promised!
